Samson & Auntie Megan

Hello,

I have a new brother named Samson. He is a black pit mix. He has been with us as of April. He will be 8 months on November 3rd. I love to snuggle & play with him.

My Mom's best friend Becky stayed with us for a few days. She brought 14 year old Auntie Megan. She is such a pretty cocker spaniel. I am so glad I was able to meet her. Brrrrr... Megan it must be cold in Massachusetts in the winter.

Mommy is in school again to be a doggie nurse. I am so glad she wants to be a doggie nurse.

The Fence.

My humans had The Backyard Depot build a 6ft shadowbox fence. This is fantastic! I can romp and play and munch on all the mulch I want. I know my woman human is concerned. She has seen an eagle hovering in the sky above. She won't let me go outside without supervision. I hope she can get a picture of the eagle so I can show you.

Blueberries, Yum!

I love blueberries. They come from a big black box next to my food dish. When the door is opened a light shines. I have been stealthful enough to get my head just inside the door. It is cold in there.

Blueberries roll but they don't squeak. They taste better than string, plastic and rubber. Right now everything looks chewy to me. Like my man human likes to ask, "How do you know you don't like it unless you try it first?"

I shall go sniff around the black box in case i missed any.

Introduction

Greetings,

My name is Daisy. I am 6 months old this week. From what I understand this means I am 3 1/2 in human years, I have heard the word toddler used in reference to me. My humans describe me as part cocker spaniel and beagle. I am not sure what that means. I have a sister dog named Spice. She is four times my size but she is oh so gentle. I love to chew on her ears and feet. Here is a photo of her.

I love my man human, he takes good care of me. I love to be near him. During the day I often sleep as I miss him terribly. When he arrives home I find renewed strength and energy from which I romp and bark. Sometimes my humans find my howls and barks endearing and other times I am told to be quiet. I don't think they quite understand how the phone, television ,movies, and serious conversation inspire me verbally.

I shall blog on again soon.
